Is there a bathroom on your boats?
Yes, all of our shared charter boats have clean, private bathrooms onboard for your convenience during your Islamorada adventure.
Do I have to worry about getting seasick?
No, our boats are exceptionally stable. Most of our large vessels are catamarans designed for smooth rides, and we don’t take guests to rough water areas. It’s extremely rare for anyone to experience seasickness on our Islamorada tours.
What kind of boats do you use for shared charters?
Our shared charter fleet consists of large power catamarans ranging from 38 to 45 feet long and 12 to 14 feet wide. These vessels feature twin engines, onboard bathrooms, plenty of shade, comfortable seating, and exceptional stability for the best possible experience in Islamorada waters.
What kind of boats do you use for private charters?
For intimate private charters (6 guests or fewer), we use 22 to 24-foot deck boats with bimini tops and cushioned seating. For larger private groups (7+ guests), we utilize our spacious power catamarans to ensure everyone has plenty of room to enjoy their custom Islamorada adventure.
What is your cancellation policy?
We typically require 48-hour notice for cancellations, though we make exceptions for medical emergencies or hospitalizations during your vacation. For cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, we provide store credit that can be used toward any future Clearly Unique Charters trip.
Can we cancel our trip if the weather looks bad?
Our experienced captain makes all weather-related decisions based on safety and marine conditions. We don’t cancel trips based on guest weather concerns, as our captain has the expertise to determine if conditions are truly unsafe for your Islamorada tour.
I booked a trip and was charged twice - what happened?
We charge approximately 50% as a deposit when you make your reservation, then charge the remaining balance to your card on file when you arrive for your trip. This is our standard two-payment process, not a double charge. Contact us if you have any concerns.
Do you offer military discounts?
Yes! We proudly offer a 10% discount for active military personnel and their families. Thank you for your service.
Are there any current specials or group discounts?
We often have last-minute availability specials and offer competitive group rates for larger parties. Call us directly to discuss current promotions and custom group pricing for your Islamorada charter.
How many people do your boats accommodate?
Our boats are legally certified for 42 to 49 passengers, but we typically limit capacity to about 2/3 of maximum to ensure a comfortable, uncrowded experience for all guests. See our fleet in action.
Not at all! Snorkeling is very easy to learn. If you can swim in a swimming pool, you can learn to snorkel. Children typically pick it up even faster than adults.
